Dr. Warren Roberts

CO-FOUNDER & CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Warren Roberts is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director for the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics and Therapeutics. He is a retired Clinical Professor in the department of Oral Health Sciences at the University of BC and the leading botulinum toxin educator in North America. Dr. Roberts is recognized by Dentistry Today as one of the top 100 CE speakers. Since 2008, he has trained over 8,000 practitioners nationally and internationally, and has treated thousands of patients therapeutically and aesthetically with Botulinum Toxin.

Striving for excellence, Dr. Roberts is continually exploring how the therapeutic use of Botulinum Toxin treatments improve patient care. His most recent lectures and teaching covered the use of Botulinum Toxin in relation to: TMD, parafunctional habits, headache, migraine, as well as its use in periodontics, endodontics, implant surgery, orthodontics and sleep apnea.

This pioneering spirit has also led to the creation of several firsts in the industry. Dr. Roberts, through PTIFAT has developed proven protocols, templates and tools to help elevate the level of teaching and achieve predictable results for patients. These tools have been adopted by many within the industry and include, but are not limited to the following:

The quality of the program Dr. Roberts developed at PTIFAT is such that in 2014 a Canadian regulatory college hired PTIFAT as a consultant to assist with the creation of a Standard of Practice for facial injectables and aesthetics. This Standard is now being used across many regulatory boards in Canada. 

Education & Associations

Dr. Warren Roberts is a graduate of the University of British Columbia Faculty of Dentistry and is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director for the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics & Therapeutics. Dr. Roberts has taken advanced education at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, as well as at the Frontier Institute (formerly the California Center for Advanced Dental Studies).

Dr. Roberts is a retired advisor to the Dean of UBC Dentistry on Indigenous Affairs and is a part-time Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral Health Sciences, Division of General Dentistry.

Dr. Roberts is a past president of the BC Academy of General Dentistry and the Fraser Valley Dental Society. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Roberts is in demand as a speaker and has published and authored numerous articles on Botulinum Toxin in dentistry for publications such as Dentistry Today, the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, Teamwork, Oral Health and Inside Dentistry.
